This pendant breaks from the flat medal format entirely; it's a solid cast figure, sculpted in the round rather than engraved or embossed onto a disc. The cherub is shown mid-motion, wings raised and outstretched, drawing a bow with visible tension across the arms and shoulders. Modelling detail runs through the whole figure, from the feathered wing texture to the musculature of the limbs, finished in a high polish that catches light differently across the curved surfaces than a flat medal would. It hangs from a plain round jump ring rather than a fixed bail, in keeping with the pendant's open, unmounted shape.
