At the centre of each earring sits an oval synthetic opal, a stone that never settles on one colour, shifting between soft blues, greens, and warm flashes of pink and gold depending on the light and angle. Lab-created opals are grown to mimic the natural stone's distinctive colour play, giving each piece that same shifting, iridescent character at a more accessible price point.
Surrounding the opal, a full cluster of round zirconia stones fans outward in a classic princess style halo, catching bright, clear light in contrast to the opal's softer, iridescent glow. Set in sterling silver, the cool metal tone lets both the opal's colour play and the zirconia's brilliance stay front and centre.
